Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of the PhoneScreen.AI services provided by PhoneScreenAI LLC. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
The service
PhoneScreen.AI helps organizations conduct and summarize automated recruiting phone screens, AI video screens in beta, and employment reference checks. The service may use artificial intelligence and may generate recordings, transcripts, summaries, ratings, or other outputs. These outputs assist human decision-making and should be reviewed for accuracy and lawful use.
AI video beta
AI video screening is a limited beta enabled per organization, for participants aged 18 and older. Candidates must agree to camera and microphone recording before starting. Both the candidate and AI interviewer are recorded so the hiring organization can review the conversation. Candidates who cannot or do not wish to take part should contact the hiring organization about another screening option. Availability, device support, and session limits may vary during beta.
Video uses third-party avatar and transport providers. The Privacy Policy describes the data involved and links to the avatar provider's policies, including its model-training provisions. Customers are responsible for the notices and consents required for their use of the service.
Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, protect your account, use the service only for lawful recruiting and employment purposes, and obtain all notices and consents required for calls, recordings, artificial intelligence, text messages, and processing of personal information. You must not use the service to discriminate unlawfully, make fully automated employment decisions where prohibited, send unsolicited messages, or upload information you lack the right to use.
PhoneScreen.AI SMS program
Candidates may separately and voluntarily opt in to transactional text messages about a requested PhoneScreen.AI interview, including invitations, scheduling confirmations, reminders, and support replies. SMS consent is optional and is not required to complete an interview or use our services.

Fees
New subscription plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew until canceled. Included screen credits and reference contacts refresh monthly without rollover, including on annual plans. A completed phone screen uses 1 screen credit; a completed AI video screen uses 2 with beta access. After the screen allowance, completed phone screens cost $4 and video screens $8; a single remaining credit reduces the next video screen to $4. A video screen counts only when all questions are answered, its transcript is scored, and the complete recording is saved. Reconnecting does not create a separate charge. Trial, legacy, prepaid, and AppSumo phone credits remain phone-only; video use on those offers is billed separately. Additional completed usage is billed monthly at the rate shown when purchased. Cancel renewal in Billing to retain access through the end of the paid term. Existing customers retain their current plans unless they choose to switch.
AppSumo Starter is a separate one-time purchase with lifetime Starter platform access for one organization. It includes 20 completed phone screens and 200 resume analyses in total, without monthly or annual refills. Additional screens require one-time $4 top-ups and include ten resume analyses per screen; there is no automatic refill. Unused purchased credits do not expire while the license remains valid. Reference Agent requires a separate Pro or Enterprise subscription. AppSumo purchases follow the refund terms shown on AppSumo, which take precedence over the general nonrefundable-fees statement below.
Paid features are billed at the prices and on the terms presented when purchased. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are nonrefundable. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
Intellectual property
PhoneScreenAI LLC and its licensors own the service and related software, branding, and materials. You retain rights in information you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that AI-generated outputs are complete, accurate, or suitable for any employment decision. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PhoneScreenAI LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or opportunities.
